  • April 24, Armenian Genocide - April 24, 2004 Jerusalem
    April 24 again - one of the darkest days in the history of the Armenians and of all mankind, the first systematic attempt in modern times to bring about the complete, deliberate extermination of a nation. 89 years have passed and Turkey yet denies... After the morning ceremony at the Armenian orthodox church, Homenetmen and Hoyetchmen scouts lead the Patriarchate and al other Armenians towards the cemetery where Armenian Relief Society representative Mrs. Takouhi Aintabellian passes the days message... Then all Armenian with the posters and Flags parade around the walls of the old city of Jerusalem Singing Armenian Revolutionary songs... Afternoon 7pm Commemoration of the April 24 victims, with a well prepared ceremony which included Armenian songs, Music, speeches of representatives of all clubs, Slide show (prepared by young Homenetmen youngsters).

  • Apo Surtukian 20th commemoration - April 23 - 2004
    Apo Surtukian, a well known active member of Homenetmen and Hay Tad committee, passed away 20 years ago but his memory stays with us forever, Apo... one of the main figures at the 70's was a man of honor and courage, he was a teacher and a man who sees the good in this world, all his life was dedicated to the bringing justice to the Armenian cause. Apo passed away before his time, and left a great deal of emptiness in many of us... YOUR MEMORY WILL STAY FOREVER WITH US...

  • Zadig Party Pictures - April 18 - 2004
    18th of April 2004 - Homenetmen Club - Easter Celebrations and an Armenian Environmental Feast, prepared by Homenetmens newly elected Committee, more than 80 people attended the party, music played by Mr. Dikran and Ashod Sahagians, party lasted till the early hours of the morning...

The Executive Committee of H.M.E.M hanged educational posters dealing with the Armenian Genocide in its main hall. These posters were prepared by Mr.Serop Nenjian from Oregon. Its aim is to explain to the public the facts about the Armenian Genocide.
