Armenian New Year's Parade and Celebration

On Friday, January 13, 2006, on the occasion of the Armenian New Year's day, Homenetmen Jerusalem's Scout Troop has made its traditional performance despite the cold weather.

The scout troop has made its march from the organization's centre in the Armenian Convent and made its way through the narrow allies of the Armenian Quarter and then back to the Armenian Convent, and ended the parade with a show at the convent's "Medz Pag".

At midnight of the same day, at the "Medz Pag", an open air prayer was held by the members of the Armenian Seminary, which was followed by fireworks.
