Homenetmen Christmas Parade in Bethlehem, December 24, 2005.

On Saturday, the 24th of December 2005, Homenetmen Jerusalem's Scouts Drums and Trumpet groups left Jerusalem to Bethlehem to take part in the Catholic Christmas day parade.

After an absence of 4 years, the reorganized Trumpet Group made it's first and impressive appearance playing 5 different Armenian melodies.

It is worthy to mention that this year's parade brought together more than 20 scouts groups from around the country. At around 13:00 p.m. the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem His Beatitude Michelle Sabah made his entrance to the city of Bethlehem bringing with him more than 30,000 tourists and pilgrims. At midnight, His Beatitude held the midnight Mass in the church of Nativity.
