May 28 Football Games

On Saturday the 27th of May, Homenetmen Jerusalem organized its annual May 28 Games celebrating Armenia's Independence Day with the participation of the Homenetmen branches of Jerusalem, Haifa, Jaffa and the Armenian Seminary football teams.

At around 3pm, the football teams of the above mentioned organizations following the Homenetmen scouts, made a parade from Homenetmen Jerusalem's centre to the football playground in the Armenian Convent where the matches took place.

After singing the national anthem of Armenia and the anthem of Homenetmen, the games celebrating the 88th anniversary of Armenia's independence has started with great enthusiasm. it is worth mentioning, that present at the games was a crowd of more than 300 people gathered from Jerusalem, Haifa and Jaffa.

The day came to its close at around 10pm with naming Homenetmen Haifa as the champion of the day. Here are the results of all the games that took place:-

Seniors' Teams Results:
