The Scout Committee Launches a Year Round Program

     On Saturday, the 28th of October 2006, the Scout Committee of Homenetmen-Jerusalem organized a scout meeting at the Gethsemane Armenian section to launch its year round program. During the meeting the yearly scout calendar was presented to the scouts, which included important dates, such as scout meeting days and drums/trumpet lessons schedule; a debate was made having as a topic the 8th Pan Armenian Jamboree; and the future plans were presented broadly which included a general division of the group into sub-groups and the naming of new leaders to these group who will undergo a special camping preparing them for this task.

     During the meeting the scouts were served barbeque in their honor.
